Derrick began his career in the financial services industry in 1984 after completing his undergraduate education at the University of Tulsa. He is a partner of Trinity Strategic Wealth™, a Certified Kingdom Advisor®, a Certified Exit Planning Advisor® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Using his education and experience, Derrick’s desire is to educate clients with objective information to assist them in choosing the most appropriate tools and strategies designed to achieve their particular life, financial and charitable desires.  As a result, many clients have been able to enjoy their retirement, exit their business, and give generously to the charity or ministry they are passionate about. Derrick has assisted with many clients move toward a faith-based investment strategy to align with their personal values.

Derrick has been married to his wife, Carrie since college. They have three married daughters and four grandchildren who help keep them young. Their family is very involved in ministry through their church and participate in various local, as well as foreign, mission projects. His passion is to be a positive influence on those he is privileged to know whether family, friends, or clients who become friends.

In his time off, Derrick and Carrie enjoy playing golf and traveling to new places.  He spends time hunting with his son in laws and anything his girls want to do.
